Shenyang is the largest city in Liaoning Province and also its capital. My visit to the city was a planned one, but instead of traveling with my family I decided to go on the trip all alone. But, if you take your family or if you will visit the city with your friends, you would enjoy it even more. Here are the top spots that I covered in Shenyang and have a look what I liked most. Mukden Palace– If you have interest in history and want to know more, then this is the right place for you. The palace was the palace of Qing Dynasty. The palace was built in 1625. The palace showcases the rich architect of that time. There are many important parts in the palace that are in perfect shape even now. The palace has many details, the walls have beautiful paintings and carving of that time. So, when you are visiting the Mukden Palace keep the whole day for it. And do not leave the museum part. It is present in the palace itself, in-fact the whole palace has been converted into a museum to learn more about the history.
Beiling Park– This park is the not like any regular park. Instead, the park has numerous historic buildings, lakes and pine trees around. The park also has the Huang Taji tomb and thus it hold a huge importance for the people in this region.
Xita – The west pagoda is basically the Tibetian Buddhist temple and it was built in the year 1640. It is one of the four pagodas of the early Qing. This place also has historical importance and you get good knowledge of of the Qing dynasty.
