- Take a look at the galaxy
I have always wondered how Space appears from Earth. My curiosity came to an end when I visited the Royal Astronomical Society. I could take a closer look at the planet at Prince George Observatory. Watch the globular clusters, galaxies, comets, and moon. There are two telescopes, one is 2 feet long and the other is 8 inches long.
- Ride the train and revisit your childhood
If you love trains, do not miss out on this attraction in Prince George. Take your kids and let them have some fun. There are old trains and they will be able to envision themselves as the captains. There is a museum where you will find many artifacts. There is a small train running on the ground and your kids can take a round in it. The entire place is filled with the history of logging and railroad industry.
- Take a walk around a park
If you like being outdoors, check out the Cottonwood Island Nature Park. Here, I was able to enjoy a lot of activities throughout the day. You can go cycling, swimming, jogging, walking, skiing, fishing, and rollerblading. The trails of the park run along Nechako River and Fraser River. If the water is low, you will be able to check out the small island by crossing the Fraser River using the CN Rail Bridge. As you make way through the forest click some pictures and enjoy the visual treat.
